The Itinerary
Day 1
Hey! Welcome to the Mother City - Cape Town, South Africa!!
Once you arrive at the airport, you will be transported to the beautiful Commodore Hotel located on the waterfront, where we will kick off our trip with a welcome dinner.

Day 2
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will ascend to the top of Table Mountain for breathtaking views of the city. Once back on the ground, we will explore the city with a foodie/walking tour. Let's eat some delicious local food and learn about the rich history of this city! Later in the afternoon, we will visit the beautiful Kirstenbosch Gardens.

Day 3
Today we head out on a tour of the Cape Peninsula! Enjoy the amazing views while on the drive to the most South-Western point of the African continent. In the afternoon, we stop in Simon's Town and visit the colony of African penguins.

Day 4
Free day in Cape Town!
Join the group over dinner and let's catch up on what we all got into for the day!

Day 5
After breakfast, we say goodbye to the Cape Town waterfront and head to the winelands! We will stop in the 2nd oldest town in the Western Cape, Stellenbosch, where we will tour the 'old town' area. We will end our day at the Franschoek Country House & Villas.

Day 6
Today we enjoy the Cape Winelands! We will jump on the Franschoek wine tram and hop between beautiful farms and century old vineyards while tasting the best locally made (and internationally acclaimed) wine!

Day 7
After breakfast we say goodbye to the Western Cape and fly to Johannesburg, the City of Gold. Once in Johannesburg, we will tour the Soweto neighborhood, including the Nelson Mandela House museum. In the afternoon, we will settle in at the Nkanga Lodge as we get ready to head out on Safari!

Day 8
Today we head out early. We will have amazing views driving the Panorama Route as we head towards Kruger National Park and Umbhaba Lodge.

Day 9
Safari! We head out in a safari jeep to watch for the Big 5! We will have two opportunities today to view magnificent animals with both a morning and afternoon game drive.

Day 10
Day 2 of Safari! Let's continue our hunt for the Big 5 and watch these majestic animals in their habitat.
We will have both a morning and afternoon game drive.

Day 11
Today we say goodbye to Kruger National Park and all of the animals and head back to Johannesburg and the Nkanga Lodge. We will end the day by enjoying dinner with our new travel friends.

Day 12
It's not "Goodbye" but "See ya Later"!
After breakfast it is time to head to the Johannesburg airport to fly home.
